I love working with kids ... moving can be a stressful ... it should be FUN with kids! This one's for the kids! No stress allowed when you are moving with kids!
I wrote this today (for Carra's kids)...
The Red Roof House
Once upon a time, in a land not far away,
Lived a family with kids who wanted to play.
They packed up their bags and said goodbye to their street,
And headed off to a brand new place to meet.
As they drove up the road, they saw a house with a steeple,
With a red roof and a yard as green as a steeple.
"This is it!" they shouted with glee,
"Our new home, oh how grand it will be!"
The door opened with a creak and a squeak,
And inside was a space they couldn't believe.
With tall walls and a staircase that spiraled so high,
This new home was a magical place in the sky.
The kids ran from room to room with a hop and a skip,
Exploring their new home and taking a trip.
They found a room painted blue with a moon and a star,
And another one painted yellow, like a warm summer jar.
The backyard was huge, with a swing and a tree,
And a garden that would grow strawberries and peaches, they'd see.
The kids were so happy, they laughed and they played,
In their new home, they felt love and they felt safe.
So they settled in, with a grin on their face,
And knew that this new home was the perfect place.
They would make new friends, and create new memories,
In their new home, filled with love and new energies.
So here's to the kids, in their new home so sweet,
May their days be filled with laughter and their nights with peaceful sleep.
For a home is more than just a roof and four walls,
It's a place where love and happiness always calls!
